International FIFA Mens Rankings

FIFA use an Elo rating system which ranks teams on a game-by-game basis. More points are awarded for a win in regulation time than are for a penalty shootout. The importance of the fixture is also taken into account, with World Cup matches having the highest coefficients, and friendlies the lowest.
